I am an adaptable business analyst/developer with technical and business experience across many roles in the full development life-cycle, including business analysis, design, prototyping, development, testing, release, maintenance, production support and ITIL processes. My strongest technical skills are Sybase (20 yrs) on UNIX, Excel VBA (6 yrs) and Uniface (10 yrs), though I quickly pick up new programming skills such as Java, C++ to become the SME for functionality, technology and process.
Highlights
Implement global Back Office IT CAB process, covering 100-200 changes per week (CS)
Dramatically improve report performance and coordinate business testing accuracy. (Fidelity)
Delivery of Central Release & Support service to meet regulator NoDAP commitment, entailing development team process change and coordination across various IT teams and full migration of development group to using proper security model & processes. (BGI)
Coordinate pre-release staging across many application teams sharing large database, through developer education and flexible management of process/resource. This reduced problems with production release and rollback to near zero. (BGI)
Successfully deliver urgent Actuate report with no prior Actuate experience. (Fidelity)
Successfully take over final development and delivery of C++ servers with no prior C++ experience, after development resource left client. (CS)
